Deadbeat vintage fashion blogger promises to update more often!

The title of this post says it all. I have been very focused on pre- fall/ Back to School buying and listing, thus neglecting my blog.
I have been posting regular updates to my twitter page, www.twitter.com/RetroTrend

I'd love more followers on both if you are looking for more info.

Right now, I am really into abstract 1980's designs with a luxe vibe. Also, since my body type is not very '80s fashion- friendly, still loving anything with a chic 1960's look.

This is a great example of a killer '80s sweater I just listed on Etsy- http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=31355770

Looking very forward to the coming cooler weather, when vintage knit scarves and beautifully tailored vintage coats can be enjoyed again.

I'm making a promise of at least one blog post per week, which will be quite the improvement for me.

So I'll be back soon...

I got another Etsy.com treasury mention for an awesome retro polka dot Halston swim suit.
Thanks to Natalie at RemindersOfThePast for putting together this great treasury and including this killer swim suit!

I sold a favorite summer staple this morning- a killer mid century swim suit and matching cover-up http://www.etsy.com/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=18575337 Look for more funky yet functional vintage to follow as we fall into cooler weather.

It is time to start a blog!

Hello! I've been a vintage clothing and lifestyle fan for many years. After leaving a profession I did not enjoy, I started sharing my love of vintage and retro items with the world by selling them online. First through Ebay and to local vintage shops- nearly a decade later I am selling vintage on Etsy as well, with a site for women and another for men. This has morphed into personal shopping for clients who are looking for gently used designer clothing as well as amazing vintage pieces.

I've been fighting the need to start a blog for a while now- who would read it? It is time to find out.

You can see what I do on the following sites:

www.retrotrend.etsy.com for women's vintage clothing, accessories and retro housewares

www.retrohommevintage.etsy.com for men's vintage clothing and accessories

www.retro-trend.com for pre- owned modern designer items and classics as well as collectible vintage clothing and accessories
